IRSGO (Iranian Society of Gynecology Oncology) was established as a non-profit organization in 2003 and has been growing steadily until now. Today, it includes more than 1,800 different specialties related to gynecological cancers. Our mission is to promote and improve women’s health and well-being through prevention, excellence in high-quality care, research, and education. Our goal is to achieve high professional standards and education in obstetrics and gynecology in Iran. Various activities have been carried out to achieve these goals. The organization of the annual Congress of Women and Oncology, the publication of the Journal of Gynecological Cancers, providing education, certification, and study opportunities, as well as many other activities, are examples of the extensive projects of this association. IRSGO workshops and gatherings have become a symbol of cooperation and friendship among physicians, researchers and medical centers in the field of gynecology across Iran. IRSGO focuses on training specifically. Joining IRSGO means gaining a sense of cooperation and sharing our experiences, this means that only by working together we can move forward. The members of the association have come together from all over Iran with the mission to fight against women’s cancers. They help us in the best way to achieve the goals of the association by joining us so that we can become a louder voice in our mission.
